How does the ShirtUp! design editor work?

The ShirtUp! design editor makes it easy to create custom products in just a few steps:

  • Choose the product you want to customize
  • Click “Customize” to open the design editor
  • Upload your own images or graphics
  • Add text, photos, or stickers
  • Resize, move, and adjust elements until your design looks just right

Want to try a different option? No problem.You can change the product type, size, or color at any time using the “Change product” button—your design will stay in place.

What file types can I upload to ShirtUp!?

You can upload the following file types:

  • PNG
  • JPG / JPEG
  • SVG
  • GIF

For the best print results, make sure your files meet these requirements:

  • Minimum 200 DPI
  • Image size between 160 × 160 px and 5000 × 5000 px
  • Maximum file size 10MB

Good to know: ShirtUp! prints in CMYK, so RGB images may appear slightly different once printed. For best results, we recommend reviewing our image guidelines before uploading.

Can ShirtUp! create a design for me?

ShirtUp! doesn’t offer a custom design service created by a designer. However, creating your own design is easy:

  • Upload your own images or artwork
  • Add custom text directly in the editor
  • Use stickers and design tools to build your layout

Can I edit ShirtUp! pre-designs?

Yes, ShirtUp! pre-designs can be edited. You can adjust text, add images and stickers, and layout to make the design your own.

Why was my ShirtUp! order cancelled due to copyright?

We cannot print designs that are deemed to violate copyright rules.If an order is placed with a design that cannot be printed, it will be cancelled and refunded, and you’ll be notified by email.

How does the ShirtUp! AI Design Generator work?

The ShirtUp! AI Design Generator helps you create unique designs in seconds using artificial intelligence.

Here’s how it works:

  • Enter up to five keywords
  • Choose an image style
  • Instantly receive four AI-generated designs

You can generate as many designs as you like until you find one you love—and it’s completely free to use.

Can I remove the background in the ShirtUp! editor?

Yes! Background removal is built right into the editor:

  • Select your uploaded image
  • Click the “Remove background” button
  • The background will be automatically removed for a clean, professional look

This works great for logos, photos, and graphics.

Can I edit my design after placing an order at ShirtUp!?

Orders go into production quickly to ensure fast delivery.

If you notice a mistake, contact us as soon as possible and we’ll do our best to help. Once production has started, changes may no longer be possible.

How can I reuse a previous ShirtUp! design?

To reuse a past design:

  • Log in to your ShirtUp! account
  • Go to “Saved Designs”
  • Duplicate any saved design to make changes
  • Reorder directly from your order history if you want the same design again

Your uploaded images are also saved in the editor, making future designs faster and easier.

Why does my print look smaller or positioned differently than expected?

Print size and placement are adjusted automatically based on the garment size and print area. This means the same design may appear slightly different on different sizes to ensure the best overall result.

Why doesn’t my order confirmation show my back or sleeve print?

Order confirmation emails only display the front view of the item.If you’ve added a back or sleeve print, it is still included in your order. If you’d like us to double-check your design before production, you can contact our support team.

How do I select the right ShirtUp! size?

Each ShirtUp! product page includes a detailed size chart to help you choose the best fit.

To avoid surprises, we recommend:

  • Checking the size chart carefully before ordering
  • Comparing the measurements to a garment you already own
  • Ordering 1–2 sizes up if you prefer a looser fit or if you’re between sizes

Good to know: Sizes can vary slightly between products, and our size charts are currently being updated. When in doubt, sizing up is the safest option.

What customization methods does ShirtUp! offer?

ShirtUp! uses two professional printing techniques to ensure the best results for different fabrics and designs:

  • DTG (Direct-to-Garment)
  • DTF (Direct-to-Film)

The method used depends on the product type and material, so you’ll always get the most suitable print for your item.

What is DTG (Direct-to-Garment) printing?

DTG (Direct-to-Garment) printing applies your design directly onto the fabric using water-based inkjet technology. The ink blends with the fabric fibers, creating a soft, comfortable finish with high-resolution detail.

DTG is best for:

  • Cotton or cotton-rich garments
  • Designs with fine lines, small text, or detailed artwork
    Artwork with smooth color transitions
  • A soft, natural print feel

DTG is not ideal for:

  • Large solid color areas
  • Polyester or certain synthetic fabrics
What is DTF (Direct-to-Film) printing?

DTF (Direct-to-Film) printing transfers your design from a special film onto the fabric. The design is printed with water-based ink, coated with adhesive powder, and applied using a heat press. This creates a print that sits on the surface of the fabric, resulting in vibrant colors and excellent durability.

DTF is best for:

  • Polyester, nylon, leather, and synthetic fabrics
  • Bold logos and strong, opaque colors
  • Designs that require durability across different materials

DTF is not ideal for:

  • Very fine lines or tiny details and artwork
  • Small logos and fines letters
What kind of inks are used for ShirtUp! clothing?

ShirtUp! uses sustainable, water-based inks across all printing methods.

These inks are:

  • Eco-friendly and biodegradable
  • Safe for both you and the environment
  • Designed to deliver sharp, vibrant prints

Both DTG and DTF printing use these inks to balance quality, durability, and sustainability.

What is the quality of ShirtUp! garments?

How can I get high-quality prints with ShirtUp!?

To make sure your design looks its best, we recommend:

  • Uploading high-resolution images (300 DPI)
  • Following our image upload guidelines carefully
  • Choosing Comfort or Premium product lines for better fabric quality
Can I print my design in gold, silver, or neon colors at ShirtUp!?

At the moment, ShirtUp! does not offer:

  • Metallic inks (gold or silver)
  • Neon or fluorescent colors

These effects require special pigments that aren’t supported by our CMYK-based printing process.

What happens if your design includes these colors?

  • Metallic or neon shades are automatically converted to the closest CMYK match
  • The final print may appear less bright, less intense, or without shine or glow

Design tip:
If you want a similar look, try:

  • Mustard or warm yellow tones to mimic gold
  • Light grey or flat silver tones for a metallic feel
  • Bold, saturated CMYK colors for maximum impact

While these won’t shine or glow, they can still look strong and eye-catching.

How should I wash and care for my ShirtUp! garment?

To keep your garment looking its best and protect the print, always follow the care instructions on the label.For best results, we also recommend:

  • Washing the garment inside out
  • Using a gentle wash cycle
  • Avoiding high heat when washing or drying

Following these steps helps maintain print quality and extend the life of your ShirtUp! garment.

Will the final print look exactly like the preview?

Your item is printed based on the preview shown in the design tool. However, small variations in print size or positioning can occur due to garment size and printing technique.

Why does the print look different across items or sizes?

Print dimensions are scaled depending on the product size. This ensures consistent proportions but may result in slight visual differences between sizes.

What should I do if my item arrives damaged or with a print issue?

If your item arrives damaged or with a printing issue, please contact our support team and include clear photos of the product. This helps us investigate and assist you as quickly as possible.

Will the printed colors match my screen exactly?

Colors may appear slightly different in print due to screen settings, lighting, fabric color, and the printing method used.

We always aim for the best possible match, but small variations can occur.

What are the ShirtUp! shipping costs?

ShirtUp! shipping costs are €5.99 for standard shipping and €19.99 for express shipping. You only pay shipping once per order, no matter how many items you include.You can find more details on our delivery options on our delivery information page.

Does ShirtUp! charge extra for printing?

Yes. Printing costs depend on the printing technique and the size of the print:

DTF printing

  • Small: €4
  • Medium: €5
  • Large: €6
    Extra large: €6

DTG printing

  • €8 per front or back side
  • €5.50 per sleeve

All printing costs are calculated automatically during customization.

Does ShirtUp! offer discounts for bulk orders?

Yes! ShirtUp! offers bulk discounts starting from 5 items, making it ideal for teams, events, companies, or group orders.

The more you order, the better the price per item. For full details, visit our “Group orders” page.

 Do bulk discounts apply to all products?

Bulk discounts start from 5 items and are applied automatically at checkout when eligible.

Not all products or print methods qualify. If a discount applies, it will be shown directly in your cart.

Can I request a custom quote?

We don’t offer custom quotes. Pricing depends on product type, print method, and quantity, and is always shown directly at checkout.

Any applicable bulk discounts are applied automatically.

What payment methods does ShirtUp! accept?

Available payment methods depend on your country and are displayed during checkout.

Can I pay cash on delivery with ShirtUp!?

No, ShirtUp! does not currently support cash on delivery.

Can I place a tax-free (no VAT) order at ShirtUp!?

Yes! If you have a valid VAT number, simply enter it during checkout and VAT will be automatically deducted from your order total.If you need help with your invoice, our support team is happy to assist.

Are there any discount codes or promotions available for ShirtUp! products?

For current promotions or ShirtUp! discount codes, keep an eye on our website and social media channels, where all active offers are announced.You can also subscribe to our newsletter to be the first to hear about new collections, upcoming deals, and exclusive subscriber discounts.

How can I use a discount code at ShirtUp?

Enter the code in the designated field during checkout, labeled ‘Enter code here’. If the discount doesn’t appear right away, try refreshing the page — that usually does the trick!

Why is my ShirtUp! discount code not working?

There can be a few reasons why your code isn’t working:

  1. The code has expired or has already been used. Most discount codes are only valid for a limited time and for one-time use only.
  2. The code doesn’t apply to your items. Certain codes only apply to specific products, collections, or minimum order amounts.
  3. The code cannot be combined or stacked with other promotions. Be sure to check the terms and conditions before using your code.
  4. The code is linked to a specific email address. Codes sent via email are linked to the address used to receive them.
  5. There’s a typo. Make sure you’ve entered the code exactly as shown—without spaces or extra characters.
When will I receive my ShirtUp! order?

Once you place your order, you’ll receive an order confirmation email with all the details reminders of your purchase. We aim to process and dispatch orders as quickly as possible.

After your order ships, you’ll receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking details.

We currently offer two delivery options:

  • Standard delivery: 2–8 working days
  • Express delivery: 2–4 working days

Please note: Delivery times include order processing. Orders are usually processed within 24–48 hours. Once your package is handed over to our delivery partner (excluding weekends and public holidays), delivery times may vary due to factors such as distance, weather conditions, or peak periods, which may occasionally cause delays.

How can I track my ShirtUp! order?

As soon as your order ships, you’ll receive an email with a tracking link. If you don’t see the email, please check your spam or promotions folder. If you’re still unable to find your tracking details, feel free to contact our support team.

Where does ShirtUp! deliver to?

ShirtUp! delivers to most countries within Europe. Available delivery destinations and shipping options are shown automatically at checkout based on your location.

If your country isn’t available yet, we’re continuously working on expanding our delivery coverage.

Do you deliver to the Balearic Islands, Azores, Ceuta and Melilla?

Although we want to provide you with the best service, at the moment we only deliver to the Peninsula. We are working to be able to make deliveries to the Balearic Islands, Azores, Ceuta and Melilla.

Does ShirtUp! deliver on weekends?

UPS delivers on weekdays and Saturdays. Deliveries are not made on Sundays.

What delivery service does ShirtUp! use?

ShirtUp! partners with UPS to ensure fast and reliable delivery.

My ShirtUp! order is marked as delivered, but I haven’t received it — what should I do?

If tracking shows your order as delivered but you haven’t received it, we recommend first checking with neighbors, housemates, or your building’s reception area.


If the package is still missing, please check your email for the tracking link. From there, go to Product and Services and click File a claim to start an investigation with the carrier.

If you’re still unable to locate your order after filing a claim, please contact us  so we can assist you further.

My estimated delivery date has passed — where is my order?

If your delivery date has passed and your order hasn’t arrived, you can contact UPS directly using the tracking link from your email. On the bottom right of the UPS tracking page, there’s a chat bot where you can ask about the shipment status and even request an updated delivery date.

Can I correct a wrong ShirtUp! delivery address?

If you notice a mistake in your delivery address, contact us as soon as possible.We’ll guide you based on UPS procedures, but please note that address changes can’t always be guaranteed once the order is in transit.

Can I return a personalized ShirtUp! product?

No, personalized ShirtUp! items are not returnable.

Can I return a pre-designed ShirtUp! product?

Yes, as long as it hasn’t been personalized. You can request a return within 30 working days of delivery by completing the return form.
To return it:

  1. Complete the return form
  2. Follow the instructions you receive

Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility.

I made a design error—can I return my ShirtUp! product?

Returns aren’t possible for user-made design errors (such as spelling or layout mistakes).We recommend placing a new order with the corrected design.

How do I log in to my ShirtUp! account?

Go to the ShirtUp! login page and sign in using your email address and password. If you’re new to ShirtUp!, you’ll need to register first before you can log in.

I forgot my ShirtUp! password—what should I do?

On the login page, click “I forgot my password” and follow the steps to reset it. If you don’t receive the reset email, check your spam or promotions folder.

I haven’t received my ShirtUp! order confirmation email — what should I do?

Order confirmation emails are sent automatically after checkout. If you don’t see it:

  1. Check your spam or promotions folder
  2. Make sure the email address entered at checkout was correct
  3. Contact our support team if you still can’t find it

If you’re unsure whether your order was placed successfully, we’ll be happy to check it for you.

My payment went through, but I didn’t receive a confirmation — is my order placed?

If your payment was successful, your order is usually placed correctly.Please check your spam or promotions folder for the confirmation email.If you’re still unsure, contact our support team and we can confirm your order status.

Can I modify my ShirtUp! order?

Once your order is confirmed, we begin processing it immediately.
If you need to change something:

  1. Contact us as soon as possible
  2. We’ll check whether your order has already entered production

Changes can’t be guaranteed once production has started.

Can I cancel a ShirtUp! order?

Orders are created and processed immediately after confirmation, so cancellations are not always possible.If you need to cancel, contact us as soon as possible and we’ll do our best to help — but we can’t guarantee the request can be processed in time due to fast production.

Can I correct a wrong email address on my order?

If you entered the wrong email address at checkout, please contact us as soon as possible.We can help update your details so you receive order and shipping updates.

How do I get my ShirtUp! invoice?

Your invoice is sent by email with your shipping confirmation. You can also download it anytime from your ShirtUp! account under “Order History.”

Can I delete or deactivate my ShirtUp! account?

If you’d like to deactivate your account, please contact our support team and we’ll assist you with the request.
