At ShirtUp!, the printing quality of our products is our top priority. We take great care to ensure that each print is done with the highest possible quality using premium and environmentally-friendly inks. That's why it’s also important to consider our image requirements. Here we share more information about our printing processes and the associated costs.
INKS
What kind of inks are ShirtUp! clothing printed with?
We have a vision of sustainability and a commitment to the environment, which is why we print your garments with sustainable water-based inks. These inks are made by suspending a 100% biodegradable pigment in a water base. It is a printing technique with DTG technology that is gaining popularity due to its combination of quality and respect for the environment. This technique can reproduce a multitude of colors. However, it cannot be used to print metallic or fluorescent colors, for which you will need to use other techniques.
WASHING INSTRUCTIONS
- Wash inside out.
- Always wash cold. Machine wash at 30ºC maximum.
- Do not bleach or use bleach stain remover.
- Do not tumble dry.
- Iron inside out, avoiding the design.

When creating your design, keep in mind that the design size will remain the same no matter what size clothing piece you choose. For example, a design will appear larger on XS t-shirt than on a XXL t-shirt. Our design tool displays a medium (M) size, and you’ll be placing your design based on that size.
Also, remember that while the distance between the collar and the print may vary across different sizes, the design size does not change. Therefore, it's best to avoid placing your design on or near zippers, pockets, or other areas where it might get cut off, especially when ordered in smaller sizes.
PRINTING COSTS
The selling price of ShirtUp! products does not include printing costs. Once you have created the design and added the item to the shopping cart, the printing costs will be calculated automatically. You can see these costs clearly during the checkout process.
The printing costs we charge depend on the printing area. Printing charges for the back and/or the front are €6 per print. The extra fee for printing the sleeves is €5 per print. You can place as many designs and text in a print area as the space allows.
