At ShirtUp!, the printing quality of our products is our top priority. We take great care to ensure that each print is done with the highest possible quality using premium and environmentally-friendly inks. That's why it’s also important to consider our image requirements. Here we share more information about our printing processes and the associated costs.

INKS

We have a vision of sustainability and a commitment to the environment, which is why we print your garments with sustainable water-based inks. These inks are made by suspending a 100% biodegradable pigment in a water base.

We utilize both DTG (Direct-to-Garment) and DTF (Direct-to-Film) technologies to ensure your designs are vibrant, high-quality, and versatile.

DTG Printing: This technique delivers a smooth, breathable, and natural finish by blending the ink into the fabric. It is perfect for cotton garments and excels at reproducing intricate details and a multitude of colors.
DTF Printing: Ideal for printing on a wide range of materials, including polyester, nylon, and leather. With this method, the ink sits on top of the fabric, ensuring bold, durable designs that are resistant to wear and tear.

While both technologies allow us to create stunning and detailed prints, they cannot be used for metallic or fluorescent colors, which require alternative techniques.

WASHING INSTRUCTIONS

• Wash inside out.
• Always wash cold. Machine wash at 30ºC maximum.
• Do not bleach or use bleach stain remover.
• Do not tumble dry.
• Iron inside out, avoiding the design.

PRINTING AREA

Before placing your order, here are a few quick tips to make sure your design looks just right:

•Design size stays the same:Your design won’t scale with clothing sizes. It’ll look bigger on an XS and smaller on an XXL. The editor shows a medium (M) size for reference.
•Watch the placement:The distance from the collar may vary by size, but the design size doesn’t change. Avoid placing it near zippers, seams, or pockets to prevent distortion.
•Use strong contrast:Avoid black-on-black or white-on-white designs — they won’t be visible. Pick colours that stand out.
•Double-check before checkout:Once you place your order, we won’t make any edits. What you see is what gets printed.

Take a final look in the editor before confirming — it’s worth it!

PRINTING COSTS

Printing costs are not included in the product price and are calculated automatically once you add your design to the cart. These charges are shown clearly at checkout.

DTF printing is priced by print size:
6,49€ for small prints (up to 250 cm²), €7,49 for medium (251–500 cm²), €8,49 for large (501–750 cm²), and €9,49 for extra large prints (over 751 cm²).

DTG printing is priced by location:
€8,99 per side for front or back, and €5,99 per side for sleeves. You can include as many design elements as fit within a print location.

PRINTING RESULTS

When choosing between our Basic, Comfort, or Premium lines, it's important to note that print results vary depending on the material and garment quality.

Our Comfort and Premium collections use smoother, thicker, and more consistent fabrics that help create sharper prints, cleaner details, and more vibrant colors.

High-quality garments also help reduce blurry edges and improve print consistency — especially for logos, text, gradients, and detailed artwork. This is because tighter knit structures and smoother fabric surfaces are better optimized for modern printing techniques like DTG and DTF.

While the Basic line offers a more budget-friendly option with lighter fabrics, Comfort and Premium garments are ideal if you want a more polished, long-lasting, and professional print result.

SIZE CHART & FIT

The fit of each product may vary, so always check the product details to determine the correct size and fit.

Want to measure accurately? Lay a similar garment flat and measure:

Length (A): from the top of the shoulder to the bottom hem.
Chest width (B): from armpit seam to armpit seam.

In one word: excellent. I first did a test order in DTF and DTG print. Both excellent quality. (tshirt size was a bit small but that was clearly indicated with the tshirt I selected when placing the order). Now I placed and received in total different 4 orders with different print types, shirts, colors and all went very well. Excellent quality print, fast delivery. Just perfect.
