DTF Printing

With Direct-to-Film (DTF), your design is printed onto a special transfer film, coated with adhesive powder, and then heat-pressed onto the garment. Because the ink sits on top of the fabric rather than soaking into it, DTF produces vibrant colors and excellent durability with a slightly raised finish.

DTF works on almost any fabric type — including cotton, polyester, blends, nylon, and other synthetic materials — without pre-treatment, even on dark garments.

Best for:

  • Dark garments and black apparel
  • Bold colors and high-contrast designs
  • Logos, text, and simple graphics
  • Polyester and mixed fabrics
  • Sportswear, workwear, and repeat orders

Advantages of DTF:

  • Works on nearly any fabric type
  • Bright, vibrant colors with strong opacity
  • Durable and wash-resistant finish
  • Efficient for medium to large production runs
  • Faster turnaround with fewer preparation steps

Important Design Notes

For the best print quality, we recommend avoiding:

  • Fine lines
  • Very small text
  • Tiny isolated details or thin outlines

DTG Printing

With Direct-to-Garment (DTG), water-based ink is printed directly into the fabric fibers using advanced inkjet technology. This creates a soft-touch print with a matte, breathable finish that becomes part of the garment.

DTG works best on cotton and other natural fabrics and is ideal for detailed, artistic designs.

Best for:

  • Detailed artwork and illustrations
  • Fine lines and small text
  • Gradients, shadows, and photorealistic prints
  • Soft premium feel on cotton garments
  • One-off or highly customized prints

Advantages of DTG:

  • Exceptional detail and sharpness
  • Soft, no-feel print finish
  • Water-based eco-friendly inks
  • Ideal for artistic and premium designs
  • Excellent for small runs and personalization

Important Design Notes

While DTG is ideal for detailed prints, print clarity can still vary depending on garment texture, fabric type, and design size. Extremely tiny text or ultra-thin lines may lose some sharpness when printed on textured or dark garments.

For the best results:

  • Use sufficient line thickness
  • Avoid overly compressed design elements
  • Ensure small text remains readable at print size
